Palkena Series (CBS)

Palkena series of fats are called cocoa butter substitutes (CBS) and they are made from specially fractionated palm kernel oil.

Palkena series can totally replace cocoa butter in compound chocolate for moulding and enrobing applications. They have excellent melting behaviour and good snappiness. Good stability against oxidation and coupled with bland flavour, Palkena series do not affect the taste and shelf life of the compound chocolate.

They do not require chocolate tempering plants and thus lower production costs can be realised.
